Abstract:

The basic range of polymers based on thermoplastic films is not overly broad: polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamides, polystyrenes and polyesters are the most common, albeit with very different manufacturing processes and combinations based, its subsequent application and requirements for it, expanding hugely then the different availabilities and forcing us to make the first restrictions:

In Südpack, we focused on the production of films with several polymers combinations thereof that are called complex films whose majority application focuses on food packaging under vacuum or modified atmosphere.

Material characteristics are obtained by combining individual properties of each of the components of the complex.
